Message 1. EGR - I don't know if you can pull the EGR with the motor in. You might be able to delete it by capping the vacuum lines and cutting off the tubes. The problem with removing the EGR with the motor in the car is the bolts end up hitting the firewall as you remove them. Maybe if you can cut the top of the bolts once they are backed out a bit and then use vice grips to turn the rest of the threads out.

2. While the plenum is out, do the throttle body water jacket bypass and replace your PCV valves. On one TT that I have worked on, the water line under the plenum was clogged. The passenger side turbo was not getting good coolant flow because of this.

3. To pass emissions, you will have to throw on your stock cat pipes.
